Sacramento, California
After every Kings win, the beam is lit. The physical beam shoots from Golden 1 Center into the Sacramento sky after home wins, but for Kings fans everywhere, the beam is a state of mind. Win a game, light the beam. The tradition started in 2022-23 when the Kings ended a 16-year playoff drought.
All data is pulled from ESPN's public API. Scores update every 30 seconds during live games, every 2 minutes otherwise. Win probability is pulled from ESPN's game summary. Season archives go back to 2022-23 when the beam tradition began. The site auto-rolls to the new season each October.

Game nights at the house. The beam doesn't just stay at the arena.
Built by @BrendanWelsh. Parents raised him to be a Kings fan. Grew up playing youth basketball in Sacramento, played on the court at Arco Arena. Sat in the nosebleeds watching Webber, Peja, Vlade, Doug Christie, and the greatest team to never win a championship. Skipped school in 4th grade to go get Carl's Jr Kings bobbleheads. Hoop dreams.
